Inspired by the Kid Sister song, Pro Nailz, these knuckle dusters feature bezel set hand painted acrylic nails.
Islay Taylor, who designed these unique rings, was born in Wakefield, Rhode Island. She is a contemporary art jeweler, who uses the body as a pedestal to showcase wearable sculptures. She received her MFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design. Currently, she works as the Gallery Director at Hera Gallery, teaches Continuing Education at RISD, and maintains an active studio practice.
